How to set up the hunt:
Choose a start and end location for your hunt and mark the spots with the green and pink spots. Create a 7-step process to get from the beginning to the end of your hunt. Use a standard ball-point pen to write the directions on the phone. Next, use a Pilot FriXion eraseable pen to make your edits. Send your kids on the hunt with the altered directions and talk about the difficulty. Next, use a candle flame or a straightening iron to heat the paper and remove all the edits. Now that the original directions are clearly visible, they'll be able to find the ending spot and earn their prize.
